Windows Mobile Booming, 90% License Growth

"…licenses for Windows Mobile®-based phones grew by 90% in fiscal year 2006."

Noticed this over at Jason Langridge’s Mr. Mobile site.  Microsoft’s 4th quarter results report includes that (very) good news for Windows Mobile growth, and that the Mobile and Embedded division is profitable.

That’s good news, and not surprising. With popular devices like the Q, the Treo 700w, and lots of others generating interest and sales, seems like Windows Mobile may really be building some great momentum.
