Rave Review for Treo 700p – from a Top Windows Mobile Guy

"Palm has created an A+ device and I have no hesitation in giving it my highest recommendation."

Jack Cook, who runs the Experience Mobility blog site and contributes at Mobility Site, has always been one of my favorite and most trusted experts when it comes to Pocket PC subjects.

And he’s always been a Windows-flavored Pocket PC guy – so it is very interesting to see his ‘First Impressions’ style review of the Treo 700p running the Palm OS – and to see that those impressions are hugely favorable!

Among the various things that impressed Jack during a 3-week stint with the 700p are:

  • The form factor – which he says is pretty much the best he has come across
  • The screen
  • The ability to only use a stylus only 3 times in 3 weeks
  • The set of in-built apps

I used and loved a Treo 650 for a lot of those same reasons. I’m not so sure about the Blazer web browser and some of built-in software though.

Anyway, the review is well worth a read, as Jack is an excellent reviewer, and this is a very nice ‘Windows Guy’ overview of getting to know a Treo 700p.
