MS ‘Zune’ To Run Windows Mobile – Bad Idea?

"I think if Microsoft wants to compete with the iPod, then it needs to
stick to doing fewer functions better rather than trying to throw in
the kitchen sink."

Geek.com has an article up mentioning the latest rumors on the infamous ‘Ipod Killer’ Zune product from Microsoft. Apparently one of those is that it will run Windows Mobile, as well as boasting a 30gb hard drive, and integrated Wi-Fi.

I had not heard the Windows Mobile part of that rumor before. I totally agree with Palmsolo’s verdict in the quote at the top of this post.

Yeah – more and more info ‘leaking’ out now. Saw today that MS has now confirmed this project. And some reports that it may be out on the streets earlier than originally expected – by October I think I saw …
