Finally – How to Store Active-Synced Mail onto Storage Cards!
Storing mail to storage cards has been a major wish-list item for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile users for ages. Now it’s do-able.
Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen – a Microsoft MVP – Mobile Devices – has brought out an in-depth article on the registry hacks available to allow storage of active-synced mail (not just attachments!) on storage cards.
There are a couple of gotchas in the article – for instance, the Messaging Today plugin is NOT compatible with this registry hack.
Menneisyys frequently publishes hugely useful technical articles, solutions, and comparisons of leading Windows Mobile applications. His thoroughness and excellent writing always make these worth reading. The guy should get some sort of Nobel prize for Pocket PC Literature!
