ATEKsoft Coolcam Not So Cool for Still Photos?

“I don’t believe it improves anything on the photo taking aspect. Instead I believe it’s a worse Still Photo application than my built in “Camera” program.”
Lesser quality and larger file sizes – for a camera application that doesn’t sound like too great a recipe. Smart Mobile Assets has a good piece up with several comparison photos taken with the ATEKsoft and with a built-in camera.
Check out Steve’s article to see the results and why he’s not convinced by this new camera app:
Is ATEKsoft Coolcam really better?

Yes it is significantly better than WM2003SE alternatives. Try it on SPV range of phones with 1.3 mp cam. This software is amazing for video recording as well with an M500 you can record 25fps 320X240 video, good enough for TV.
