Core Processing in Mobile Devices?


An author over at Ars Technica posted an interesting article about how the Core Processor, currently utilized in UMPC’s and laptops, will soon become the "Core" component of mobile devices. He makes an interesting argument by stating how the Core processor, while it may consume more power, is much more compatible with x86 based applications. It is due to this inherent compatibility at the fundamental level that makes him ponder on the future of mobile processing.
