Worth Checking Out – Leading Mobile Software Company’s Blog Site

Source: Ilium Software Blog
So … this is how these guys test their apps out.
Ilium Software – makers of some great and award-winning mobile software products – now have a company blog site, titled “Ilium Software Blog – Behind The Scenes at Ilium Software’.
Ilium are the makers of products like eWallet, ListPro, and NewsBreak. eWallet has been one of my absolute favorite and *essential* products to have on every mobile device for years. It is an invaluable tool for safely storing sensitive information, with tons of great features. NewsBreak is currently my favorite RSS reader / aggregator for Windows Mobile.
I think it’s great to see a leading software publisher put up a blog site, to more effectively communicate with us, the users and prospective users of their products. I hope other mobile software publishers will follow their lead.
The site itself looks good too. I’ve already read through several of the articles and found them interesting. I especially like Kevin’s personal intro section, mentioning that he works on their support team, actively uses their products every day, and including the great photo at the top of this piece, with some of his collection of mobile devices for testing and so on.
Definite thumbs-up to Ilium for putting this blog up – I will be RSS subscribing to it. Give it a look at:

Hi Patrick – I don’t have a problem with you using that picture at all.
Your blog looks pretty cool, plus, it’s got a nice, punny, memorable title! For better or for worse, that Bangles song has been cemented into my brain ever since I was in grade school…

Hey Kevin – glad the photo is ok, and thanks for the kind words. As for the song, yeah – same here, along with some images of Susanna Hoffs (or something like that) as well …
