Just Had To …
have a crack at sharing some mobile news and views in my very own space.
This is a first post and a first effort at blogging in my own space – so if you read this or other posts and want to comment, great, but be gentle with a new guy if you can.
I’ve been a huge mobile device enthusiast, and a big fan of PDA / Pocket PC / Windows Mobile apps, for a large number of years now. I’m also a regular reader of many excellent mobile-focused sites.
My goal here is just to offer another little (hopefully interesting) place to visit and exchange news / views / tips and tricks that help with getting the most out of mobile devices and the apps we run on them.
Some of the areas that particularly interest me right now are:
- Converged ’smartphone’ type devices
- Business or Job-focused applications (not much of a gamer on devices I’m afraid)
- Security on mobile devices
Funny – I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, and now I’ve got a site and it’s 3:30 in the morning and this seems a little more daunting than I had imagined. Well, here’s hoping that with the Intro out of the way, the second post will be a little easier …

Thanks Solsie! On video podcasts, cool – I need to look into those. So far I have not branched beyond the audio ones, but I’m going to check some of those out real soon.
